This custom designed home with Palladian symmetry features exterior and interior detailing configured by the Furnitura Interiors’ design team for a palatial residence located in North Burnaby, British Columbia.
The 4 exterior columns are 20” round with genuine marble composite scamozzi capitals. The Tuscan-inspired side arches are a combination of sandstone, cement and fibercrown while the gates are custom wrought iron with grape motif.
On the inside the Furnitura Interiors team designed the round entrance dome, the horizontal great room dropped dome as well as the coffered rounded ceiling detail in the separate dining room. Hushed colours of butter, gold, cream, white, silver and sandstone dominate the expansive open plan’s walls, ceilings and formal interiors.

The Furnitura interiors design team worked with local finishing carpenters, artisans, mural artists and faux finishers in order to achieve the look of an authentic Tuscan villa. The traditional interiors are embellished by double height fluted square columns crowned with marble composite scamozzi capitals as well as rounded faux marble floor to ceiling columns flanking both the formal dining room and the enclosed study.
